Quotes from The Courtyard

Here are three great passages from Alan Moore's The Courtyard.

1. All events are time roses, the clenched fuck uncrumpling into a life as the species folds back to annelian ancestors.

2. Cul-de-sac trashcan enclosures dab ghostfish and hornet-hung fruit on night's pulse points.

3.The word burst inside me like summer thunder, sends scarabs and swastikas rippling over the screen of my eyelids.

Glad to see you're reading Alan Moore!

He's brilliant...if you'd like, I can let you borrow Watchmen or 1602.

I think Sean's stuff is better. But that's just me.

As much as I like Sean's stuff, Moore has shown that he has more than just potential. He's pretty much written the entire graphic novel canon himself.
